About Lee Kirsten

I am a wife, mother, customer service provider, Beachbody Coach and Personal Trainer.

I live in Oregon, the very most-northern part. I live with a lovely family- my husband of three years, and our children from our respective first marriages spend time here, and with their other parents as well.

I enjoy nutritional studies, addiction study, psychology, using my voice (working on using it professionally), swimming, hiking, MUSIC, singing, cooking, gardening, organizing fund raisers, baking, low-carb pursuits in cooking and baking, Scrabble/wwf, Bejeweled, inventing/innovating, technology, etc. etc. I was briefly a writer/proofreader for the now defunct “American Legacies” magazine and would dearly love the opportunity to write in that capacity again.

I have recently become a fitness coach with Team Beach Body. ย http://www.teambeachbody.com/Leekirsten

I am really inspired and excited to begin the next phase of my personal development. I want to see how far I can take this, and be in the best shape of my life. ๐Ÿ™‚ Would you like to join me? I am keeping my low-carb diet approach, but I do want to have some more tools in my ‘box’ to keep heading in the right direction.

  1. I have finished my pharmacy tech studies, and am not quite as excited about it as I am about the upcoming wedding season! I’m an officiant, and I will be doing my first bridal show event this next weekend, hoping to get some business- and hoping to fit it all in by being able to get off of work on the inevitable weekends that will be requested. I am in a bit of dilemma on that one, since in retail, weekends are our busiest time. And, weddings are so seasonal, it would be difficult to base my entire living on them once the winter comes. I need to let people know that I will also do other types of celebrations or ceremonies involving the use of my voice/emcee/speech giving skills.

  2. Hi there! ๐Ÿ™‚ Just had to stop by and thank you for giving me one of my all time favorite compliments on Rachelle’s blog, when you said that I’m a great lover.

Uhm… wait a minute… No, I’m sorry! I’m really sorry, cause that wasn’t it at all, and please forgive my mistake, cause now I remember that compliment was from someone else, and please don’t tell her!

But you gave me an even better compliment than that one, cause you said that I’m hilarious! Thank you so much, and I’m going to call you hilarious too. I haven’t read your blog yet, but I did read your reply to Rachelle in which you mentioned some of the dreaded perils of using Mr. Coffee, including the horror of the folded over filter during the night, resulting in a scale model of the BP Gulf of Mexico oil spill, only much worse! Because it’s not only just a huge mess to clean up, it’s all my flippin’ coffee wasted when I need it most! This really is worse than the BP oil spill in the Gulf, because have you ever tried drinking crude oil? It’s even worse than Sanka!

So yes, I think you are hilarious too, because I do have some evidence, and you are someone that I now consider a person of interest, as well as a suspected hilarrorist in my ongoing investigation of hilarity and the people responsible for it.

You have the right to remain silent. But I sure hope that you don’t use it! LOL ๐Ÿ˜€

  3. Update: I hated pharmacy, so after all the education, did not pursue it. The bills keep coming, though. Sigh…if only I could get paid to do what I really love to do- write! Meanwhile, it’s been two years in the marriage, and all is wonderful. I am still a cashier/customer service specialist ( ๐Ÿ™‚ ), and doing my blog is probably the most fun thing I do, other than pound out the treadmill miles. One day I will run in races. I am in training now, as a new runner. Wish me well. Please, feel free to pass recipes, or writing job offers my way. Thank you!

  4. Thank you so much ! Congratulations on putting your e-book together. I have been reading over it. You might consider asking someone to edit it for you for spelling/typos/ English language usage. There are just a few very subtle verb tense/common English usage issues to address. Way to go on getting your work published! ๐Ÿ™‚
